Week of Thanksgiving

There's always - ALWAYS - something to be thankful for.  I know if I try to list everything, I'll miss something, but here goes:

  • I'm thankful for my health.  While it's not the greatest in the world and I  have some things I definitely  need to work on to improve, I'm thankful that I can walk and move and climb my tree stand ladder and talk and breathe and so much more that others cannot do, or cannot do easily.
  • I'm thankful for my husband.  He's not perfect (neither am I), but he's perfect for me.  We weather the storms of life together, and enjoy the good times as they come.  Thankfully for us, there are far more good times than there are bad times.
  • I'm thankful for my son.  He and I have been through a lot over the years, and I'm thankful that we are so close and can talk about anything.
  • I'm thankful for the rest of my family (too many here to name) - we don't always get along, but we still love each other and look forward to spending time together whenever we can.
  • I'm thankful for my job.  There's been a lot of changes at work over the 4 years that I've been there, and I'm so appreciative of everyone that I work with.
  • I'm thankful that our new doggie, Red, came into our lives.  Yes, he's a major pain in my ass at times, but he has filled a huge hole that was in our hearts from the loss of Dominion.
Lord have mercy there's so much more that I had on my mind to share, but this is all I can remember for now.  I've posted the link below if you'd like to review my annual Thanksgiving post, Thankful for the Thorns.  It's a great read!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!  I hope you wore the stretchy pants!
